HCI Connect 2026: networking and digital innovation for healthcare
How can innovation, trust and collaboration contribute to making healthcare in Switzerland simpler, safer and more efficient? This question was at the heart of HCI Connect 2026. The recurring event impressively demonstrated how the Galenica network supports healthcare professionals and patients, and drives digitalisation in the healthcare system.
More than 400 participants came together for the fourth time on 12 March 2026 with the guiding theme of “Trust – the currency for sustainable success”. The industry event provides the opportunity to discover new solutions, exchange ideas and jointly drive forward the digitalisation of the healthcare system. The focus was on reliable logistics and supply chain processes, the importance of trustworthy data, and digital solutions that make everyday life noticeably easier for healthcare professionals.
Leveraging the power of the network
An efficient healthcare system is created when different skillsets combine. This is precisely what makes the Galenica network special: companies with different strengths work closely together, pool their knowledge and develop solutions along the entire supply chain. Their aim is to simplify access to healthcare services and continuously improve the quality of care. At HCI Connect, it became clear how this network concept works in practice. Using specific examples, employees from Alloga, Galexis and HCI Solutions demonstrated how smart logistics, reliable data and digital applications help to relieve the burden on healthcare professionals and make processes more efficient.
Greater security, more consistent digital processing
Among other things, HCI Solutions presented its new compendium – the next generation of the established medication information platform. It makes it easier to access specialist information and offers health professionals many new features. The technology behind the solution has been rebuilt, its functionality expanded, and it has been systematically tailored to the needs of physicians, pharmacies and other healthcare professionals.
The improvements include notification of supply bottlenecks, an AI-powered product search and digital medication management based on the Swiss eMediplan. Furthermore, the solution supports the assessment of potential medication risks and enables the electronic transmission of prescriptions in accordance with the Swiss e-prescription standard.
The HCI Connect Event 2026 has become a key platform for networking within the Swiss e-health sector. The next edition will take place on 11 March 2027.
